**Register before May 31st to guarantee current tuition cost.  Due to sky-high gas prices, we must raise our tuition to cover the cost.  Please bear with us so that we may continue to provide the quality service you expect and deserve.**


REGISTER ONLINE NOW BY SCROLLING TO BOTTOM OF PAGE!
Students under age 18, who are seeking to earn their Massachusetts driver's license, MUST earn a "Driver Education Certificate" issued by the RMV.  To earn this certificate, a student must attend a full driver education course at a RMV licensed driving school.  Completing the StreetSmart Drivers program will satisfy this requirement.

Our full driver ed program for students receiving their learner's permit BEFORE 9/1/2007 includes:

• 30 classroom hours
• 6 behind-the-wheel road lessons (1 hour each)
• 6 hours observing another student's lesson

FEES (we offer payment plans, please call us for details! 978 745-0607)
Full couse: $400  breakdown as follows:

• Classroom Fee: $200
• Behind-the-wheel lesson Fee: $200 in full, or $35 per road lesson (no fee for observation hours)
  
  

• RMV driver ed certificate: $20 ($15 plus $5 administrative fee)

• Additional road lessons (if needed): $35 each hour

• Road test sponsorship (optional): $55

CLASSROOM DETAILS

• All class sessions are composed of 30 hours
• Class fee is $200
• Missed classes may be made up in a future session
• Each class is 3 hours in length.  Classes are numbered #1 - #10.  All 10 classes must be completed.
• Final exam given at completion of classroom portion.  Student must earn grade 80%.
• Once a student has registered for a class session, he/she may call to schedule behind-the-wheel lessons
• Class enrollment is limited.  Register early to ensure a spot in your desired session
• You do NOT need to have a learner's permit to attend the classroom portion of our program
• You must be 15 years, 9 months by the first day of your classroom session
• Classes are held at 10 rear Jefferson Ave., Salem
• Minimum deposit $100 to register & hold a seat in a classroom session

ROAD LESSON DETAILS

• Learner's permit earned before 9/1/2007 = 6 behind the wheel lessons/6 observation hours 
• Each lesson approximately 2 hours in length (1 hour behind wheel, 1 hour observing another's lesson)

• We strive to accomodate students with door-to-door at home service, however, depending on the town you live in (please remember that we are based in Salem), you may be asked to meet at a mutually agreed location.
